Is ScrumPoi's planning poker really free?
Yes. Planning poker sessions are free with no session limit and no per-guest cost. Paid plans add saved workspaces, history, larger teams, Jira import and flow analytics — the estimation itself is not gated.
Do participants need an account to vote?
No. Guests open the link, type a display name, and start voting. Only the person who wants saved history, a permanent team URL, or integrations needs to sign in.
Which estimation scales can we use?
Fibonacci, Modified Fibonacci, T-shirt sizes, and Powers of Two. The facilitator picks the deck when creating the session and everyone in the room gets it immediately.
How does planning poker stop anchoring bias?
Nobody can see anyone else's card until the facilitator reveals them, so the first number said out loud cannot pull the rest of the room toward it. That simultaneous reveal is the entire mechanism — remove it and you are just having a meeting.
Can we estimate our real Jira issues?
Yes, on a Pro workspace. Connect Jira, pull issues into the session by JQL or sprint, and estimate them with the team instead of retyping titles. The integration is read-only: ScrumPoi reads your board and never writes to it, so a session can never change a ticket by accident.
What if the team cannot agree on a number?
